They have the LOI!!!

This is a great day in our adoption process! Thanks to the wonders of the Internet we were able to watch our LOI go from Utah, to Tennessee, to Alaska to Beijing and finally to the CCAA. The packet our LOI was in was signed for at 9:58 am local time (May 19th), which is 9:58 pm EST (May 18th) last night. It's really awesome knowing that the Chinese officials now know that we intend to adopt our precious Charleigh and bring her home as soon as possible!

I think we'll have our homestudy fully approved by the end of next week. I am so hoping that our wait for our I171 isn't too long! I've heard good things about the Atlanta BCIS, so I hope we don't have to wait too long!!

I think Bubba Jr. is getting a little tired about all this talk and no action about getting a sister. He's been so excited and involved through this journey, but we've been talking about it now for 13 months and as far as a 4 year old is concerned we might as well be asking him if he wants a horse... He probably thinking "I've said 'yes' I want a sister 1,000 time and still nothing! I wish my mom would either cough up a sister or just ZIP IT."

Since today is "Show and Share" day at his preschool I asked him if he wanted to take a picture of his sister to show. He promptly told me he didn't have a sister and would rather take a train anyway. Hmmmm is this the beginning of sibling rivalry??
